CORPORATE

Corporate Event Photography

Different job, different deadline. A conference photograph that arrives in three weeks is a photograph nobody will use.

What corporate work needs that weddings do not

  • Speed. Marketing teams need images while the event is still current. Same-day selects for social, full gallery within 48 to 72 hours. A three-week turnaround makes the work useless.
  • Brand discipline. Logos visible and unobstructed, backdrop kept clean, sponsor boards photographed deliberately rather than incidentally.
  • Usage rights that are actually written down. Most companies need broad commercial usage. Agree it before the shoot.
  • Discretion. Photographing a conference means moving constantly without becoming the thing people are watching.

What we cover

  • Annual days, family days and team events
  • Award nights and recognition evenings
  • Executive portraits and headshots at scale
  • Office and facility photography
  • Event films, highlight reels and testimonial capture

Conferences and panels

Stage lighting at conference venues is designed for the audience's eyes and for video, not for stills. Speakers are usually lit from above, which puts their eyes in shadow, and screens behind them are far brighter than their faces. It needs fast lenses and a plan, not a flash.

Ask for the run of show in advance. A photographer who knows when the CEO speaks and when the award is handed over is in position; one who does not is guessing.

Headshots at scale

A hundred and fifty employees in one day is a logistics exercise more than a photography one. A fixed setup, a booking sheet in fifteen-minute slots, someone managing the queue, and consistent lighting so the whole directory looks like one set rather than a hundred different portraits.

Usage and delivery

We quote corporate work with usage rights stated explicitly, delivery in hours rather than weeks, and separate lines for anything additional. If you need images retouched to a brand guideline, send the guideline before the shoot rather than after.

Questions people ask

How quickly can we get corporate event photographs?

Same-day selects for social media, and the full edited gallery within 48 to 72 hours. Corporate images lose most of their value once the event stops being current, so we treat turnaround as part of the deliverable rather than an afterthought.

Do you provide usage rights for commercial use?

Yes, and we state them explicitly in the quote rather than leaving them vague. Most companies need broad commercial usage across web, print and social, and it is far easier to agree that before the shoot than to renegotiate afterwards.

Can you photograph a conference with difficult stage lighting?

Yes, and it is the normal condition. Conference stages are lit for the audience and for video, so speakers are usually lit from above with their eyes in shadow and a screen behind them far brighter than their face. It needs fast lenses and anticipation rather than flash.

Do you need the agenda in advance?

It makes a large difference. A photographer who knows when the CEO speaks, when the award is handed over and when the group photograph happens is in position. Without a run of show, even a good photographer is reacting.

Can you do headshots for a whole office?

Yes. At scale it is a logistics exercise — a fixed setup, fifteen-minute booking slots, someone managing the queue and consistent lighting throughout so the directory looks like one coherent set rather than a hundred separate portraits.

How many photographers does a corporate event need?

One is usually enough for a seminar or panel. A product launch with press, a stage programme and networking running simultaneously needs two, because a single photographer cannot cover a keynote and a press interaction at the same time.

Do you shoot event films for corporate clients?

Yes — highlight reels, full session recordings, and testimonial capture on the day while attendees are still present and willing. Testimonials filmed at the event are far easier to get than ones chased afterwards.

Can you work to our brand guidelines?

Yes, if you send them before the shoot. Colour treatment, crop ratios and retouching standards are much easier to build in than to apply retrospectively across several hundred images.

Do you photograph events outside Chennai?

Across Tamil Nadu and elsewhere in India. Travel and accommodation are quoted as separate visible lines rather than folded into the day rate.

Can you handle press and media at a launch?

Yes. Press events need someone who understands the difference between the images the company needs and the images the press will use, and who can work around media crews without blocking them.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes, routinely. Product launches and internal events frequently require it and we are used to working under one.

Can we book a photographer for a half day?

Yes. Corporate work is quoted by duration rather than by function, so half days are straightforward and common for seminars, headshot sessions and short launches.
